Este artículo (mal)aplica el concepto lacaniano “entre dos muertes” para informar y así trastocar los modelos prevalecientes que explican las relaciones entre niños(as) y desarrollo. Intenta explorar las controversiales relaciones entre las deudas simbólicas que han sido contraídas por y demandadas de los niños(as), y las inversiones sociales (nacionales e internacionales) en ellos(as), las cuales, han sido distribuidas a través de diferentes países. Esto, con el fin de replantear la necesidad de atender la materialidad física de la vida de los niños(as) por encima de su estatus simbólico.Citas
